Syniti Announces New EMEA Leadership Team
Chris Gorton steps up to SVP & Managing Director EMEA and Linda Hipol is promoted to SVP EMEA Services
FARNBOROUGH, UK –– Syniti, a global leader in enterprise data management, today announced key leadership appointments in EMEA. Chris Gorton has been named Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region and Linda Hipol was promoted to Senior Vice President, EMEA Services. Both Gorton and Hipol take crucial roles in the EMEA senior leadership team to continue to drive Syniti’s growth in the region.
Chris Gorton, SVP & Managing Director EMEA
With more than 20 years’ experience in the technology and data industry, and in-depth knowledge of leading diverse sales teams through transformation and business change, Gorton steps up from his role as SVP for EMEA North, South, and Emerging Markets, where he set about building, implementing and executing a go-to-market strategy to further demonstrate the broader data proposition to our customers and further accelerate the growth of Syniti EMEA. A tech leader and entrepreneur, he founded AssuraData, an organisation that helps enterprises select the right data solution for their needs. Prior to that he served as SVP of sales and value engineering at Syniti, was the EMEA information management lead for SAP and spent time as a solution engineer for Identex.
Gorton said: “I feel very privileged to take this role at such an exciting time for Syniti in EMEA. As we continue to grow in the region, we’re addressing real issues for our customers. Knowing that what we do has a direct impact on the quality of their data, which in turn means improved cash flow, cost savings, and improved processes, drives me and the team I lead.”
Linda Hipol SVP EMEA Services
Hipol moves up from her role as SVP Delivery Operations, and she continues to lead Syniti’s Women in Tech employee resource group. As a founding partner of Data Migration Resources, and with more than 25 years’ experience of Business Process & SAP consulting, Hipol has a track record in both established organisations and start-ups. She takes this role with the aim of increasing the EMEA team’s revenue and building a strong and positive culture where teams and individuals thrive.
Hipol said: “I want Syniti EMEA to be somewhere everyone wants to work – a place where people really feel they belong. The team here is already growing in terms of impact, reach, and revenue. I want to facilitate that, and help them to achieve even more. It’s a very exciting time to be here and to be part of the EMEA leadership team.”
Gordon Lam, CRO, Syniti, said: “The EMEA senior leadership team is stronger with Chris and Linda’s appointments: they are both exceptional leaders who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table and a customer-centric approach and strong commitment to driving growth and innovation. They will be responsible for building and leading high-performing teams, developing and executing successful growth strategies, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience. EMEA is an important region for us, and with their combined expertise, we’re primed to expand our efforts and grow our business here.”
